Apple’s first generation iPod has been voted the most iconic gadget of all time.
It came out top in a survey of 3,900 gadget fans commissioned by Gadget Show Live @ Christmas, which opens at Earls Court on Friday. The iPod, which launched in 2001, tops a list of the ten most stylish gadgets ever.
The Sony Walkman, which launched in 1980, and paved the way for the iPod two decades later, is also on the top ten list.
The Polaroid camera is the oldest gadget to make the list while the newest is Nike’s Fuel Band.
The 10 most iconic gadgets of all time are:
